Jessica Hernandez is a printmaker born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She joined the Metro Art Studios community in 2021 and most recently became a member of the advisory board. The inspiration for most of her work is rooted in her day to day living with multiple sclerosis. You'll find floral themes in her art and she often includes delicate hand painting on the printed design. She takes special care in selecting the paper she prints on from mulberry to hemp to lokta paper. The paper gives her work added dimension and provides a layer of texture to her pieces.
